This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬A therapist seduces his client。 Well， apparently there are WAY more inappropriate professional/client relationships happening than the mc？ I can’t even say they were in the background when they would。。。。 well， i mean。。。 but then。。。。 hmm。。。。 Ok。 I’ll admit I’m unsure how to even describe in summary what transpired。 Seduction？ Orgies？ Adult group activities？ Private Buildings for。。。。？？ Kinks galore？ I’m not even sure if it was even only that。 My terminology of human sexuality is。。。 l 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬A therapist seduces his client。 Well， apparently there are WAY more inappropriate professional/client relationships happening than the mc？ I can’t even say they were in the background when they would。。。。 well， i mean。。。 but then。。。。 hmm。。。。 Ok。 I’ll admit I’m unsure how to even describe in summary what transpired。 Seduction？ Orgies？ Adult group activities？ Private Buildings for。。。。？？ Kinks galore？ I’m not even sure if it was even only that。 My terminology of human sexuality is。。。 limited。Characters:I didn’t particularly like any characters。 They just never seemed to 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘬 with me。 I didn’t care what happened to them or worry about any consequences to any actions that happened。Again; I didn’t like any characters。 Mind games can be fun but apparently， I have certain rules about them？ This manga took forever to read because of some self-realization that happened as I was reading。 So as you can imagine。。。 this is a very difficult review for multiple reasons， not only the ones I state here。I think I may be too sensitive to this kind of story。 Immediately out of the gate， there is line-crossing/ a clearly unhealthy dynamic/ manipulation and “testing” other people。。。 Due to my real life upbringing， I found this incredibly difficult to finish。 Therefore I have to put this down and come back after I’m able to separate myself more from the material。 So i’ll flush this review out at a later time。 As it stands， I’m unable to rec it to anyone just yet。 I’ll be educating myself but my full review may be a long time off—because of the complexity。 。。。more

I like this story better than Secret XXX tho I enjoy cameos of Mito and Shohei。 The romance （I。e。， saying I love you） seems to develop a little fast but I love how Minato is basically a feral cat and Shizuma just accepts his feelings for Minato without too much panicking （tho there is some） about his sexuality。

[rating = B-]This manga goes well with Secret XXX as it gives the minor characters in that one the main stage here。 At first as a revenge tactic， Minato （the blond one） tries to seduce Shizuma （"drunk and very straight"） and get back at him for a "one night stand"， though the reader only has Minato's word on that as Shizuma doesn't remember anything。 Then as the two go on a trip and start to grow closer， things are revealed and whatnot （very typical drama-plot stuff）， and things， oh my， go awry。 [rating = B-]This manga goes well with Secret XXX as it gives the minor characters in that one the main stage here。 At first as a revenge tactic， Minato （the blond one） tries to seduce Shizuma （"drunk and very straight"） and get back at him for a "one night stand"， though the reader only has Minato's word on that as Shizuma doesn't remember anything。 Then as the two go on a trip and start to grow closer， things are revealed and whatnot （very typical drama-plot stuff）， and things， oh my， go awry。 As with the manga Jackass， it is revealed that childhood trauma plays a major part in the personality of one of the characters。 I was not convinced by this （and it goes further in explanation in Vol。 2）。 The emotional sides of the characters were nice and added depth。 In all， I guess it was interesting enough to reader Vol。 2， but there are more original and realistic manga out there。 。。。more

3。5 stars。After a drunken one night stand， Shizuma can't remember what happened。 Upset， Minato swears he'll get revenge by seducing and then dumping Shizuma。This suffers from lack of context since this is technically a sequel but also tries to stand alone。 There's nothing all that revolutionary or genre-defying here， but what Therapy Game does well it does really well。 In particular， the way the physical （non-sexual but deeply emotional） intimacy between the characters builds along side intense 3。5 stars。After a drunken one night stand， Shizuma can't remember what happened。 Upset， Minato swears he'll get revenge by seducing and then dumping Shizuma。This suffers from lack of context since this is technically a sequel but also tries to stand alone。 There's nothing all that revolutionary or genre-defying here， but what Therapy Game does well it does really well。 In particular， the way the physical （non-sexual but deeply emotional） intimacy between the characters builds along side intense sex scenes， the long scenes of extended dialogue， and lingering glances， etc。 all work to sell this hyper-intense， emotionally claustrophobic relationship。There's also an excellent scene towards the beginning where Minato meets Shizuma's "friends，" that painfully illustrates culturally specific homophobia in a way that is both subtle and pointed， and which I felt was particularly effective and gives a good underpinning for Shizuma's internalized homophobia。Still， the plot is predictable to the point of being "by-the-numbers，" which hampers the better elements and prevents them transcending the narrative's limitations。 That said， I do plan to continue with this series mostly for those aforementioned better elements。 。。。more

Minato and Shizuma are so adorable together， even if Minato has a sort of nasty side and seems a little aloof。 You can see that they care about each other， even when Shizuma was angry and hurt by Minato he wanted to try and get the side of the story from Minato。<3 <3 <3

Honestly probably my favorite BL I’ve read to date ！！ The characters were actually interesting and had a lot of personality to them， the plot never dragged。 The only problem is I do think things were sort of rushed to get to the **big** betrayal， so I would’ve liked to see them go out a few more times， but other than that？ I loved it。
